In my own opinion – the girl who commits suicide.
It’s all over the news – a student of UP committed suicide because she fails to pay her tuition on time. Students and professors are mourning for their loss; students of other state universities are making a scene just to hear their plea – like throwing and burning school properties like chairs in their campus. (It’s what I saw on TV.) They are even asking the chancellor of the university to resign.
Every institution has their implemented rule that needs to be followed by people who belong. I do believe, everyone undergo orientation for them to be familiar with the rules and regulations of the institution.
From what I heard from the social media, the girl was given chances – a lot of them as I believe. I really don’t get why these students are blaming the chancellor and the institution itself for what had happened. The school is strictly implementing the rules they made. Rules are meant to be followed. Right? You know for a fact what the consequences will be.
The law makers can’t just break the rules they made. (Though I know it is rampant here in our country.) I still believe that there are still a number of honest and dedicated employees. How will we learn if we will always be given chances?
Suicide is not the answer. You can’t correct a wrong action by doing another wrong action. And for those people, who just want to get some attention, stop it! You’re just making things more complicated. I know we are in a free country, but being free has its limitations.
