We all have stories to tell. These are mine – the twisted words of life.

It’s that time of the year again.

Valentines Day? No big deal. I’m freakin’ kidding. But you know what’s real? Valentines is overrated. Ain’t bitter or anything, its’ just that, people or should I say couples are so busy showing off which hurts my eyes a lot. I’m not envious – not at all. Why go mainstream? Why ride the bandwagon all the time? You can always show the love you have for that special one every damn day without even spending a dime.

Say it old school, but I love strolling at the park and writing love letters or poems as well. A simple doodle will make my heart melt too. Everything has been “instant” now. You can make videoclips in just a simple click. A simple status in facebook or a tweet in twitter or a reblog in tumblr will do for you to feel that spark all over again.

I’m way too different compare to those girls. Never in my wildest imagination that I see myself dine at a fancy restaurant. Receiving a bouquet of flowers is lovely but bringing it along with me is a no. It’s too girly to be my thing. Same with huge teddy bears. Huge as me? Ha.Ha.Ha Imagine how hard is that. It’s been ticked off my bucket list though. Who would ever forget about chocolates? Go make that girl of yours all by yourself by indulging her sweets. Show offs, i’m so over that. I would rather have the silent type of relationship than “you and me against the world” thing.

No matter what I say, you’ll all be having your ways to celebrate it. So yeah, good luck and break a leg! Spread the love.

It matters the most.

It’s time to write about other things. Other things that really matter. Not the things I think that matter.

It may be ironic but it’s worth it.

As I hold the cigarette firmly on my fingers, a thought comes to mind. Life isn’t a fairy tale – happily ever after rarely happen. You can’t take things back to make it right. Uttered words can’t be taken back either. Broken hearts can mend but it will never be the same – things will never be the same. Life can be ironic but it is woth living.

In my own opinion – the girl who commits suicide.

It’s all over the news – a student of UP committed suicide because she fails to pay her tuition on time. Students and professors are mourning for their loss; students of other state universities are making a scene just to hear their plea – like throwing and burning school properties like chairs in their campus. (It’s what I saw on TV.) They are even asking the chancellor of the university to resign.

Every institution has their implemented rule that needs to be followed by people who belong. I do believe, everyone undergo orientation for them to be familiar with the rules and regulations of the institution.

From what I heard from the social media, the girl was given chances – a lot of them as I believe. I really don’t get why these students are blaming the chancellor and the institution itself for what had happened. The school is strictly implementing the rules they made. Rules are meant to be followed. Right? You know for a fact what the consequences will be.

The law makers can’t just break the rules they made. (Though I know it is rampant here in our country.) I still believe that there are still a number of honest and dedicated employees. How will we learn if we will always be given chances?

Suicide is not the answer. You can’t correct a wrong action by doing another wrong action. And for those people, who just want to get some attention, stop it! You’re just making things more complicated. I know we are in a free country, but being free has its limitations.
